history

The Austrian Youth Brass Band was recognized by the federal government as a youth organization in April 2004 and has since been one of the largest youth organizations in Austria. The basic and project funding associated with the recognition as a youth organization made a lot possible for which there was previously no money. In September 2004 the federal office opened in Spittal / Drau (Carinthia). Various new projects were created and existing ones were further developed.
