The Austrian men's indoor hockey league is the highest division in Austrian indoor hockey . The organization of the league is the responsibility of the Austrian Hockey Association (ÖHV). The master qualifies as an Austrian representative for the indoor hockey European Cup of the following season.
The league consists of six teams. They first play a basic round, consisting of a home and away game against the other teams. The first four have qualified for the Indoor Masters since 2001. The first and fourth as well as the second and third of the basic round each play a semi-finals. The winners play for the championship title in the final. Third place will not be played out to the best placed in the basic round who did not reach the final. Furthermore, the last two of the regular season play to stay in the league. These relegation games take place between the fifth placed in the Bundesliga and the runner-up in men's B , as well as the sixth-placed in the Bundesliga and the first-placed in men's B. Third place went to Post SV due to its better placement in the regular round . In the relegation, the first division clubs were able to maintain their place in the Bundesliga.
