The Österreichische Land-Zeitung was an Austrian national German newspaper that appeared in Krems and Wilhelmsburg between 1880 and 1918 . In the course of time it had various secondary titles , such as the organ of the Austrian Patriotic Land Association . At first it appeared only twice a month, then weekly and daily and from 1916 even twice a day. The continuation of the Österreichische Land-Zeitung was the German-Austrian Land-Zeitung .

The Österreichische Land-Zeitung was founded in 1880 by Heinrich and Friedrich Fieber as an organ of the Austrian Patriotic Land Association and published in Wilhelmsburg. In January 1883 the independent papers went up in the newspaper, in June of the same year the city ​​and country messenger .
