Metropolitan TV
Metropolitan Region TV (proper spelling: METROPOLREGION TV) is a regional television broadcaster in the metropolitan area of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan area, based in Weinheim an der Bergstrasse . It broadcasts in the federal states of Baden-Württemberg , Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate . The station is operated by TV-Medien Rhein-Neckar GmbH. Christian Gräber is the station's managing director.
history
The broadcast started on July 7, 2014. The license was granted by the LFK under the file number F1.2.23. As a documentation and reportage broadcaster, the broadcaster dispenses with news or accident reports and focuses on reports , reports and image films about the region. The station reports on the homeland , shows a diverse program of sports , culture , and reports about people, companies and events in the region . Each larger region has its own broadcast day on which only contributions from this region are shown. There are also other broadcast windows: bands from the region, BermudaSHORTS (short films), live recordings, Rhein-Neckar shopping, regional companies and advertising.
Blue Lava GmbH has held a 25% stake in Metropolregion.tv since May 17, 2017. On August 1, 2018, the Mannheim studio opened in Jungbusch.

The transmission area extends over the entire Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. With the booking of the Mannheim HUB on Kabel BW (Kanal 166), METROPOLREGION TV reaches over 300,000 viewers daily .
