The Austrian men's water polo league is the first men's national water polo league in Austria and is organized by the Austrian Swimming Association. It was played for the first time in 1897 as the Viennese championship. The current champions are the water polo players from WBC Tirol .

Game mode

The teams play against each other twice against the other teams. Then a play-off is played, which is played on two games won (best of three). In the semifinals, the first-placed team plays against the fourth-placed team, the second-placed team against the third. The winners play for the championship title in the final, the losers for third place in the championship.
