Austrian Seniors' Council

The Austrian Senior Citizens' Council , based in the 15th district of Vienna, is the legally recognized representation of the interests of over 2.3 million senior citizens in Austria. The legal basis for the Seniors' Council is the Austrian Federal Seniors Act . As the umbrella organization of the large pensioners' and senior citizens' organizations, the Senior Citizens' Council serves as a non-partisan discussion forum for all matters that affect older people. Membership is not possible for individuals.

The chairmanship is held annually by the two presidents Ingrid Korosec and Peter Kostelka .
