Ötzi Alpine Marathon

The Ötzi-Alpin Marathon is an Italian extreme triathlon from Naturns to Schnalstal and from there to the glacier at 3200 meters above sea level.

The participants have to overcome the marathon distance of 42.195 km and several thousand meters in altitude . The disciplines are mountain biking , mountain running and ski touring . The Ötzi-Alpin Marathon was launched in honor of Ötzi and his contemporaries, who crossed the Alps without any technical aids. It takes place in April every year.

  • 24.2 km mountain bike (1538 meters in altitude)
  • 11.8 km mountain run (495 meters in altitude)
  • 6.2 km ski tour (1201 meters in altitude)
