Øivind Nerhagen

Øivind Nerhagen (born April 21, 1958 in Trysil ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Life and career

Nerhagen was born in the municipality of Trysil in the east of the province ( Fylke ) Hedmark in southeast Norway . He is originally a trained crop scientist .

He first took part in the 1983 Biathlon World Championships in Antholz, after making his World Cup debut a year earlier. With the relay he reached the bronze medal at these World Championships, which also meant Norway's only medal at this World Cup. In the subsequent world championships he did not get any outstanding placements. He won the gold medal three times at Norwegian championships. After 1987 he was no longer employed internationally.
