Ørnes
Ørnes is a place in Norway with about 1600 inhabitants.
Ørnes belongs to the municipality of Meløy and is located in the province of Nordland in the Salten region south of Bodø . Ørnes is the landing stage for the Hurtigruten and the local speedboats. From here there are ferry connections to Meløy, Bolga and Støtt. There are also several daily bus connections to Halsa and Glomfjord.
Near Ørnes is the Svartisen , the second largest glacier in Norway.
