Ünal Atay (* 1935 in Manisa ) is a former Turkish football player .

Career

Atay played for İstanbulspor in the 1955/56 season . The midfielder moved to Galatasaray Istanbul the following season . Atay made his competitive debut on September 30, 1956 in the European Cup against Dinamo Bucharest . At the end of the 1957/58 season, Atay won the Istanbul City Championship with Galatasaray. In the summer of 1959 Atay went to Fatih Karagümrük SK .

There he played until the end of the 1960/61 season. For Karagümrük Atay came to 63 league games and scored one goal.
