Ċirkewwa

Ċirkewwa is a ferry port on Malta and at the same time the most northwestern point of the island of Malta . From here regularly operate RoRo - ferries to the port Mġarr on Gozo . In summer, passenger ferries to the island of Comino leave from near the ferry port .

Administratively, Ċirkewwa is part of the city of Mellieħa . Nearby there is a seawater desalination plant, a hotel and the Paradise Bay bathing bay . Ċirkewwa is popular with diving schools for diving . A figure of Mary under water as well as the wreckage of the tug Rozi, sunk in 1991, and that of the patrol boat P29 , which was sunk in 2007, are the main attractions.
