The motor coaches of the series 811 of Czech Railways (ČD) were two-axle diesel railcars for regional traffic. The two prototypes formed the basis for the 812 series and later the 814 series .

In 1994 the Czech Railways placed an order to improve the 810s in terms of reliability, economy and travel comfort. By 1997, Pars Nova in Šumperk had two railcars and three sidecars.
