Kuppa , sometimes also written Cuppa , is the name for the upper bowl of a drinking vessel , usually in the form of a goblet , goblet or wine glass . However, the term is also used in connection with Christian baptismal fonts or baptismal fonts, in which, by analogy with the chalice, the upper bowl or the container with the baptismal water is meant.

The term kuppa , like the dome, is derived from the Latin term cupa "vault, barrel, barrel", possibly also from the Italian coppa "mug" in the context of the meaning of drinking vessels .
