The ČSD series E 203.0 was an electric locomotive of the former Czechoslovak State Railways ČSD, which was intended for service traffic in the Prague hub .
History and commitment
For business trips during the restoration of the tunnels on the Prague connecting railway, a battery-powered vehicle of German origin was used in 1945 and designated as E 203.001. The previous use of the vehicle is not known. It had two drive axles, an alkaline battery and an auxiliary and lighting device for the tunnel vault.
Further technical data of the vehicle are not known. It was used in Prague until 1952, then it was retired.
