Career

Until 1980, the native Czech Fous played for his home club TJ Škoda Plzeň . He also played an international match for the Czech junior team, which later prevented a use in the German national team. In 1980 the goalkeeper switched to the ECD Iserlohn , with whom he was promoted to the ice hockey Bundesliga in 1982 . Here he became one of the strongest goalkeepers in the league. After the bankruptcy of the Sauerland club, Fous joined the Eintracht Frankfurt ice hockey team , where he played until 1991. After four years on the Main, I returned to the ECD Sauerland Iserlohn in the 2nd Bundesliga. Here, however, his team membership ended after only 13 missions.
