Martin Fous (born January 14, 1987 in Šumperk , Czechoslovakia ) is a German - Czech ice hockey goalkeeper who was most recently under contract with ERV Schweinfurt in the Oberliga-Süd .

Career

Martin Fous began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the Czech professional clubs HC Olomouc , HC Litvínov and HC Zlín , for which he was active from 2002 to 2006. After a year break, the goalkeeper received a contract with ESV Kaufbeuren in the German league for the 2007/08 season . His father Čestmír Fous had already stood in goal here in the 1990s . After a year he moved to the SERC Wild Wings , for whom Fous was between the posts in a total of 18 games in the 2nd Bundesliga in the following season , before he was signed by the Hamburg Freezers from the DEL in the summer of 2009 . In January 2010, Fous received a license to support the Wölfe Freiburg in order to gain match practice in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Since December 2010, Martin Fous has been under contract with EHC Klostersee in the Oberliga-Süd . At the end of January 2011, Fous was also given a license from Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg for the German Ice Hockey League. For the 2011/12 season he was firmly committed by the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg, who then awarded him to the upper division Kassel Huskies .

For the 2012/13 season, Fous received a contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau and acted there as second goalkeeper behind Sebastian Albrecht . The German-Czech last played from November 2013 until the end of the season in the Oberliga-Süd at ERV Schweinfurt .
