Đurađ II. (To German Georg) Stracimirović Balšić († 1403 ) was a prince from the Serbian noble family of Balšići . When his father Stracimir died in 1373, Đurađ was accepted by his two uncles Đurađ I and Balša II as co-ruler over Zeta , Skadar and the other lords of the family. When Đurađ I died in 1379, Balša II made himself the sole ruler by making Đurađ II disappear in prison. He was only released after his uncle's death in 1385 and was able to succeed him as prince in the Zeta and northern Albania ; on the other hand, he could not maintain the rulers in southern Albania.

Đurađ II married Jelena in 1386, a daughter of Prince Lazar of Raszien . The couple had a son, Balša III. who succeeded his father in reign.

Đurađ II could not maintain the dominant position of his family in the region. The smaller feudal lords of Northern Albania renounced him and ruled their estates independently. From the north he was harassed by the Bosnian King Tvrtko I , who wanted to seize the port city of Kotor . So he was essentially left with the area around Lake Skadar and the nearby Adriatic coast. Đurađ II set up his residence in Ulcinj .

In 1389 he sent his father-in-law, the prince and later emperor of all Serbs, Lazar Hrebeljanovic , auxiliary troops who fought in the battle on the Amselfeld .
