The Łabski-Szczyt-Hütte (German: Alte Schlesische Baude , Polish Schronisko PTTK "Pod Łabskim Szczytem" ) is located at an altitude of 1168 m npm in Poland in the Giant Mountains , a mountain range of the Sudetes , on the northern slope of the Veilchenstein (pl. Łabski Szczyt ) .
history
The hut was built during the Thirty Years War and is one of the oldest buildings in the Giant Mountains. The oldest surviving depiction dates from the year 1780. It was initially called Eliasch Baude and Jesaiasch Baude and later Schlesische Baude and from 1787 Old Silesian Baude to differentiate it from the New Silesian Baude . It is owned by the PTTK .
