Łysa Wyspa (German Kahleberg ) is an island in Lake Neuwarper . It belongs to the town of Nowe Warpno and, after the border was redrawn after the Second World War, forms the only island on the Polish side in this bay of the Szczecin Lagoon . Łysa Wyspa is 8 hectares and uninhabited. The island is a nesting site for many rare species of birds and home to rare plants. The port of the already German community Altwarp is only 100 meters from the western shore of the island.
