Şerafettin Yıldız

Şerafettin Yıldız (* 1953 in Sürmene , Turkey ) is an Austrian writer and translator of Turkish descent who has lived and worked in Austria since 1978 .

Life

The Viennese works in the school advice center for foreigners in his city and publishes books of poetry in German and Turkish , e.g. B. My Snotty Hope (1989). In the field of children's and youth literature , Yıldız published Der Himmelblaue Gruss (1995), "the story of Murat, a Turkish boy who does not grow up in his homeland".
