Žibartas Juozas Jackūnas
Žibartas Juozas Jackūnas (born March 20, 1940 in Vilnius , Lithuania ) is a Lithuanian philosopher and former politician .
Life
From 1958 to 1963 he studied Lithuanian language and literature at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas . He received his PhD in philosophy from Vilniaus universitetas in 1981 . From 1965 to 1968 he was an assistant at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas, from 1971 to 1972 he taught in the chair of philosophy. From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas . He then worked in the research institute and headed a department.
