Ḥasan Muṭlak
Ḥasan Muṭlak (* 1961 in the village of Sudaira in Salah ad-Din (governorate) ; † 1990 ) was an Iraqi writer .
Life
Mutlak studied pedagogy and psychology in Mosul and graduated in 1983. He did his military service and ran a teaching institute in Kirkuk. Mutlak was married and had two daughters.
He was hanged for an attempted coup in 1990 at the age of 29. He was one of the intellectuals of his country and is also known as the Lorca of Iraq . He is the brother of the writer and poet Muhsin Al-Ramli .
