Ḫita (Elam)
Ḫita was an Elamite king of Awan . 2280 BC He signed a contract with Naram-Sîn of Akkad . This possibly served to form a coalition against the Guteans . In return, a daughter of Ḫita was married to Naram-Sîn. To this day, this contract is the oldest known historical document from Elam. It was kept in the Inšušinak temple of Susa , where it was found during French excavations.
