The “school magazine for six to nine year olds” was broadcast every two to three weeks in the afternoons on different working days between 1980 and 1991. Cartoons and real films from other socialist countries were shown.

The moderator and main actor was the quick draftsman Tom, played by Thomas Schmitt . He was accompanied during the broadcast by the cartoon character Pauline, a hamster girl who was dubbed by Genia Lapuhs .

1-2-3 Allerlei ran first on Fridays in the evening program, from 1986 on Wednesdays and 1991 on Saturday mornings. The last broadcast was broadcast on September 21, 1991.
