Genia Lapuhs
Genia Lapuhs , actually Ingeborg Lapuhs , (born January 8, 1925 - April 21, 2018 ) was a German actress and radio play speaker .
Life
Lapuhs received acting lessons from Lyda Salmonova-Wegener at the Wegener Theater in Berlin .
As a theater actress she appeared at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam, among others . However, she was mainly active as a freelance actress and cabaret artist.
At DEFA , Lapuhs was seen as a character actress in numerous films; she often played smaller roles and drew portraits of women with local Berlin flavor. In the literary film adaptation Little Man - what now? (1967) she played the small role of landlady. When East German television she had starring roles in television films; Several times she played comic roles in comedies and GDR-Schwänken. She is also documented on records with comical roles , such as Ingeborg Krabbe and Werner Troegner on the comedy LP Fun in Fun . In the 1980s she was a regular guest on the television program Bei Pfeiffers ist Ball .
At the beginning of her film career she worked in several humorous short films from the Stacheltier series, for example as a stenographer in the Stacheltier film Modenschau-Erliches (1953), in Ein Polterabend (1954/1955) and Der Fischer un sine Fru (1955); in the latter film, she played at the side of Fritz Schlegel , who played the butcher master, his wife, Kathrinchen .
In addition to her film work, Lapuhs worked extensively as a radio play speaker. In the 1960s and 1970s, Lapuhs worked for the record company Litera in several fairy tale radio plays that were released as records . She spoke, among other things, the Queen in Snow White (1964), Hare in Snow White and Rose Red (1965), Fox in The Fox and the Cat (1970) and the cat and sexton in From One Who Set Out to Learn Fear (1974). Other radio play roles were Cora Munroe in The Last of the Mohicans (1970) and the Parrot in Treasure Island (1974). In 1980 she worked for the Amiga record label in the children's radio play with music Der Traumzauberbaum as Moosmutzel.
In 1963 she took part in a radio play version from Berlin Alexanderplatz ; In 1964 she was part of the cast of the crime radio play Brennpunkt Autowolf by Horst Girra (1920–1972). In 1975 she spoke to Frau Molle in a radio play version of the novel Das Kunstseidene Mädchen on radio in the GDR .
Occasionally Lapuhs also worked as a dubbing actress , for example in the GDR dubbed version of the Soviet fairy tale film Die Schöne Warwara in 1971 ; she lent her voice to the role of old Wesseluschka .
