Werner Troegner
Werner Troegner (born January 13, 1925 in Berlin ; † December 20, 1993 there ) was a German actor , cabaret artist and director .
Life
Werner Troegner was a popular cabaret artist in the GDR. After being a prisoner of war, he received an acting training from Eleonore Ehn in Berlin-Schmargendorf. Her first engagements at the Schloßpark-Theater Berlin were followed by others at the Senftenberg Theater , the Neue Bühne Berlin, the Berlin cabaret Die Distel and the GDR radio.
As a director he worked for the television program Ein Kessel Buntes , for the cabarets Die Distel , Die Reizzwecken , Die Kneifzange and Die Nrechbohnen . His estate is in the German Cabaret Archive .
Werner Troegner is the father of the actress Franziska Troegner .
