Joachim Gürtner

Joachim Gürtner (* before 1935 ) is a German radio play director .

Life

In 1953 and 1954 he directed the first two productions of the newly founded Berlin cabaret Die Distel . In 1955 he was a founding member of the Palast-Brettl, a cabaret whose artistic director he was and where he also directed, in Melodie des Friedrichstadt-Palast . From the 1960s he worked as a radio play director. GDR radio listeners remember him with the real-socialist radio play series Neumann, ring twice , which was broadcast weekly in 678 episodes on Radio DDR I from 1967 to 1981 .

Joachim Gürtner also took on acting roles in film and television from time to time.
