Hans Knötzsch

Hans Knötzsch (born October 13, 1923 in Leipzig , † August 1, 1996 in Berlin ) was a German director , actor and screenwriter .

Life

After graduating from high school, Knötzsch studied at the University of Music in Leipzig. He had his first engagement in Chemnitz in 1947 and then worked in Plauen for 4 years . After working in Plauen, he acted in the newly opened theater in Putbus , where he also worked as a director for the first time. In 1957 his work took him to Berlin, where he worked as a radio play director. However, he only showed his talent for the German television network, where he worked as an actor and director for over 30 years. He was married to the actress Eva-Maria Hesse.
