Markus Brüdigam (born April 7, 1986 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Born in Aschaffenburg, he came to the traditional club Viktoria Aschaffenburg at a young age via DJK Aschaffenburg , where Brüdigam was drawn into the first team by the U19s in 2005. There Brüdigam was on the ball for three years in the Oberliga Hessen and only narrowly missed promotion to the third-class regional league in 2006/07 as runner-up behind FSV Frankfurt ; in the following year, under coach Andreas Möller, third place was enough to move Aschaffenburg into the fourth-class regional league to rise - SV Darmstadt 98 was the champion of this Oberliga Hessen 2007/08 and thus co-promoted .

In 2008/09 both Aschaffenburg and Darmstadt were able to keep the class athletic, but Viktoria had to accept relegation for financial reasons and withdrew to the Hessenliga. So Brüdigam moved to SV Darmstadt 98 for the 2009/10 season and became a regular in the defense. In the 2010/11 regional league season, at the end of which they were promoted to the third division , Brüdigam even wore the captain's armband in the decisive final phase of the season, as the regular captain Boris Kolb was referred to the bench again and again.

Markus Brüdigam remained loyal to the lilies in the third division and played his first third division game on August 2, 2011. After 11 appearances in the third division for SV98, Brüdigam returned to the regional league team Viktoria Aschaffenburg for the 2012/13 season . With Viktoria he was relegated to the league in 2014. For the 2014/15 season he moved to the Hessen League for SC Hessen Dreieich , with whom he celebrated promotion to the Hessen League. In 2016 he left the club after two years and ended his professional career. Since summer 2016 he has been playing in the amateur area at DJK Hain in the district league.
