The 1st Bundesliga air pistol is the top competition class of the German Rifle Federation (DSB) in German team air pistol shooting and was founded in 1997 .
The air pistol is used to shoot electronic equipment ( Meyton Electronics ) from a distance of 10 m .

German championship
The best four in each group take part in the quarter-finals of the German Championship. This is carried out in the knockout system . The first of each group fights against the fourth and the second against the third of the other group. The winners go to the semi-finals, and the winners from these go to the final. The winner of this is the German team air pistol shooting champion.
The record champions with seven titles are the rifle guild Waldenburg .
