The SV Willmandingen is a shooting sports club from Sonnenbühl in Baden-Wuerttemberg . The club, founded in 1961, had one team in the 1st Bundesliga air pistol (group south) in the 2017/18 season , and the 1st sports pistol team in the Württemberg regional league since 1998. Other pistol teams are active in the Württembergliga and the regional league.
history
The club, founded in 1961, initially belonged to the Swabian Sport Schützenbund and after its dissolution joined the German Schützenbund , where it has competed in the Echaz-Neckar shooting group ever since. He is a member of the Württemberg Rifle Association (WSV) - Neckar district.
SV Willmandingen currently has 180 members, making it the fifth largest club in the Echaz-Neckar shooting club. Frank-Peter Bahnmüller has been the first chairman since 1999 and is also the team manager of the Bundesliga team.
