The first football club Breslau , often abbreviated as 1. FC Breslau , was a German sports club from Breslau .
history
The association was founded in 1932 when the SpVgg in 1892 Breslau and the SV Großmarkthalle Breslau merged. In 1936/37 the club succeeded in winning the 1st district class in Breslau , which allowed him to participate in the promotion round to the district league of Central Silesia , which the club successfully competed and thus rose to the second-class district league of Central Silesia . Already the first season in the district league 1937/38 could be won, in the subsequent round of promotion to Gauliga Schlesien , Breslau narrowly prevailed in second place. Thus, the club managed to march through from the district class to the Gauliga Silesia
In 1939/40 , the club rose from the Gauliga. In the 1940/41 season, the club withdrew from playing during the season, presumably due to the war. Further seasons are not recorded.
