The 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia ( Czech 1000 mil československých ) was an automobile race that took place in Czechoslovakia in 1933, 1934 and 1935 based on the model of the Mille Miglia .

In 1933 and 1934, the race led from Prague via Brno to Bratislava and back, which corresponds to a total distance of 1592.8 km or 1000 miles. In 1935 the route ran from Brno via Pohořelice and Mikulov to Bratislava and back (a total of 1540 km).

Only vehicles from Czechoslovak production took part in the first race in 1933. In 1934 and 1935, a large number of foreign drivers and vehicles were added.

Since 1970 the event has been taking place regularly as a classic car race. However, this only happens partially on the old route.

1933

The first race on 10 and 11 June 1933 won Petr Mucha from Praga - factory team on Praga Alfa 1800 Roadster. Class winner up to 1100 cm³ was Jindřich Knapp with Walter Junior SS.

1934

Z-4 - 1000

The winner of the second race on June 9th and 10th 1934 was Jindřich Knapp on Walter Standard S. Class winner up to 2000 cm³ was Adolf Szczyzycki ( Wikov 40 ), class winner up to 1500 cm³ was Eliška Slavíková on Aero 1500 . Other class winners were Josef Mamula on Z-4 1000 (up to 1000 cm³) and Antonín Nahodil-Ovesný on Aero 750 (up to 750 cm³)

1935

Jan Kubíček won the third race on June 15 and 16, 1935 in a Bugatti T35B (built in 1927 with a Ford V8 engine). Class winners were Renzo Cantoni in a Lancia (up to 1500 cm³), Ruggero Minio in a Fiat 508 Balilla (up to 1100 cm³) and Jaroslav Kaiser in a Jawa 750 Sport (up to 750 cm³).

A year later, the race could not be held due to the political tensions between the Sudetenland and Czechoslovakia.
