The 102 Boyz are a hip-hop crew from Leer in East Frisia .
Band history
Kkuba and Skooby Duh started their music in 2012, a mixture of trap and the style of Aggro Berlin . Over time, Chapo, Stacks, Addikt and Duke joined them. The group’s first steps were published on Soundcloud . The first mixtape Drei Drei and especially the successor Broke Youngstas , which includes features from Fruchtmax , Kulturerbe Achim, Goldenboy and Joey Bargeld, made them a little better known in the underground scene .
The band was best known there through band member Duke, who does not live in Leer but in Poland. The first appearances were organized by Polish rap greats such as BOR , Paluch and Kobik , who can also be heard on the mixtapes. Asad Jon helped them perform at the 2017 Splash Festival .
In 2018, the beer track was released in cooperation with the seven-strong rap crew BHZ . In November of the same year the debut album Asozial Allstars 1 followed and with it the beginning of a trilogy of albums published shortly afterwards . Part 2 was released on April 26, 2019 and reached the German album charts for the first time. The third album was released on November 1, 2019, and reached number 12.
