description

The neighboring buildings are on Main Street , Renton's main street, in the city center. They date from the early 19th century and are among the oldest houses in the city that have survived to this day. The masonry of the two-story houses consists of ashlar stones. The entrance door of building No. 18 on the right is in the middle on the west-facing front. It closes with a rectangular fighter window . A lattice window is installed on the right, while a doorway with a segmented arch leads to the back of the building on the left. Two windows are symmetrically arranged on the upper floor.

The front of the adjacent house No. 22 is symmetrical. The central entrance door is flanked by two blind pillars , closes with a rectangular window and is crowned by a simple cornice . Muntin windows are installed on both sides of the door. Four windows are evenly distributed on the upper floor. The saddle roofs of both houses are now covered with modern roof tiles. The chimneys were also removed. A low quarry stone wall surrounds the property. The two corner posts have a square plan and close with a pyramid-shaped cap.
