181 West Madison Street is a skyscraper in the US city of Chicago , which is located at the address of the same name. The structure was built from 1988 and completed in 1990. The height is 207 meters. The 50 floors of the building have a total of 104,000 square meters of floor space, which, apart from a few technical facilities, is used almost exclusively for office space. The well-known architect César Pelli was responsible for the planning of the high-rise . The facade was designed with stone and the windows were inserted in individual parts. Towards the top, the skyscraper becomes a little narrower due to various recesses, but still ends with a flat roof.
