18 de Julio , also known as 18 de Julio (Pueblo Nuevo) , is a town in Uruguay .

geography

18 de Julio is located in the territory of the Department of San José in its sector 2 . Rodríguez is a few kilometers north-west . At the running in the Northeast, from Arroyo de la Virgen formed border Nachbardepartamento Florida is Ituzaingó located. Proceeding from there further south, with the Río Santa Lucía flowing there, the border with the neighboring Canelones continues. Not far north-west of 18 de Julio is the closest neighboring town of Capurro .

Infrastructure

Route 11 runs through 18 de Julio, where route 79 meets. The Montevideo - San José - Colonia railway line also runs not far to the north .
