reception

Joslyn Layne awards 4.5 out of 5 points on allmusic :

“Merzbow, the leader of the Japanese Noise, has learned how to use sound to tinker with the listener's brain. He uses imperceptible sound frequencies to punch pinholes in the eardrums and to bleed out the preconceived notions of sound, music and how they affect someone. "
