The 20 × 120 mm Madsen cartridge was developed in Denmark for the Model 1935 anti-tank rifle. The cartridge was used in numerous weapon variants and also in tank cannons, such as the Madsen automatic cannon of the Landsverk L-60 . Other areas of application were anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank systems and ship artillery. The cartridge was widely used by the Finnish armed forces in particular.
