21st Century Entertainment was a computer game publisher that had an excellent reputation from the early to mid- 1990s , especially among Amiga fans, thanks to the successful and technically standard-setting pinball simulation series Pinball Dreams , Pinball Fantasies , Pinball Illusions and Slamtilt .
history
Founded in 1991 by industry giants, it had a hit in 1992 with Pinball Dreams , which sold over 650,000 times. At that time, the company also owned the software developer Spidersoft Ltd., who among other things developed the unsuccessful film implementation Cliffhanger for the publisher Psygnosis in 1994 .
In 1997 they worked on the development of Electronic Pinball, which was never published. It was also planned to release six games from other genres this year.
In 1998 the company ran into financial difficulties and the English part of the company was closed, in 2000 the 21st Century Entertainment Group and all subgroups were closed for good.
