The 24-zig (/ twənti'fõ zɪg /, from English zig-zag zigzag) is a winding mountain road in the southwest of the People's Republic of China , which was used in the Second Sino-Japanese War as a symbol of the efforts made by the American army in support of China , became known worldwide.
