25 de Agosto (Veinticinco de Agosto) is a city in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the Florida Department in Sector 13 in the Cuchilla del Pintado on the banks of the Río Santa Lucía . The city is located in the extreme southwestern tip of the department on the border with the neighboring departments of San José and Canelones . The closest settlement to the north is Independencia . The western town of Ituzaingó is on the opposite, right bank of the Arroyo de la Virgen , which touches 25 de Agosto in the west and south.
Infrastructure
The Ruta 76 , Ruta 77 and the Montevideo - Paso de los Toros railway line run through the town .
