2MASS J02431371-2453298 is a brown dwarf in the constellation Fornax . It was published in 2002 by Adam J. Burgasser et al. discovered. It belongs to the spectral class T6V; its surface temperature is 800 to 1300 Kelvin . As with other brown dwarfs of the spectral class T, methane also dominates in its spectrum . Its position shifts by 0.3548 arc seconds annually due to its own motion . It also has a parallax of 93.62 milli-arcseconds.
