2MASS J06050196−2342270 is an L-dwarf in the constellation Lepus (hare).
The spectral class is around L0, but could also deviate from it by one or two subtypes. Cruz et al. estimated in a study published in 2007 based on the roughly determined spectral class and the corresponding absolute brightness that the distance is in the order of just under 40 parsecs .
