It belongs to the spectral class L6.5; its surface temperature is 1300 to 2000 Kelvin . As with other brown dwarfs of the spectral class L, metal hydrides and alkali metals also dominate in its spectrum . Its position shifts by 0.0312 arc seconds annually due to its own motion . It also has a parallax of 0.03311 arc seconds.
