The 3raum Anatomy Theater was a theater and venue in the 3rd Vienna district highway .

It was opened on April 24, 2006 under the direction of long-time artist and theater maker Hubert "Hubsi" Kramar . The location chosen was the former anatomy building of the veterinary medical institute at Beatrixgasse 11, which had already been vacated in 1996 by the relocation of the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna , which had become necessary for reasons of space . The key idea here was to protect the building, which has meanwhile been unused but architecturally interesting, from possible destruction and to make it accessible to a wider public as a backdrop .

In terms of content, the organizers want to maintain the greatest possible openness in terms of genre and, in addition to theatrical productions, offered performances, concerts, films, festivals and literary presentations.

In May 2012 Kramar announced that it no longer wanted to extend the lease, which expired in October. Instead of being a theater director in his own house, he will then “play, stage and write theater elsewhere, because that's my life”. The last performance took place on October 20, 2012.
