4th Time Around is a song by Bob Dylan that appeared on his 1966 album Blonde on Blonde .

In this song, Dylan describes the confrontation of a man with a woman, where real and surreal elements mix. There are speculations that the song is based on the track Norwegian Wood from the Beatles' 1965 album Rubber Soul , which was written by John Lennon and which in turn appears to be influenced in structure and text by Dylan.

The song can be heard in the film Vanilla Sky .

On his 1966 world tour, Dylan played the song in the acoustic part.
