description
The building is located on Charlotte Street, southeast of Glasgow city center. Its construction in the classicist Adam style began around 1790. The masonry is made of polished sandstone . The east-facing front facade of the two-story building is symmetrical and five axes wide. A central projection three axes wide with a concluding triangular gable with an oculus in the tympanum emerges slightly. The central entrance portal ends with a frieze , tooth cut and cornices . The final gable roof with its massive, gable-end chimneys is covered with slate.
