A residential building is located at 67-69 South Street in the Scottish town of St Andrews , Council Area Fife . In 1959 the building was included as an individual monument in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

The residential building dates from the 16th century. Over the centuries it was revised and last restored in 1974.

The four-story apartment building is on the north side of South Street ( A918 ) in St Andrews' historic center. On the left is St John's House . Its south-facing quarry stone facade is three axes wide. The two upper floors were raised at a later date. On the right a passage leads to the back yard. The closing metal gate is a replica. Business premises are located on the ground floor. The ceilings of the wings going out to the rear are partly vaulted . The final roofs are covered with slate.
