69th Regiment Armory
69th Regiment Armory , also Lexington Avenue Armory , is the headquarters of the 69th Infantry Regiment of the United States Army . It is located in 68 Lexington Avenue in the district of Rose Hill in Manhattan , New York City . The Beaux Arts Architecture building opened in 1906 and was declared a National Historic Landmark in June 1996 .
Event hall
Behind the main building is the parade hall with 5,000 seats. In 1913 the art exhibition Armory Show took place here, in the following years sporting events, trade fairs and conferences. Since 2002 z. B. The annual Victoria's Secret fashion shows often take place.
